What Does
Knee-to-Ear Pose Mean?
Knee-to-ear pose, also sometimes called ear pressure pose, is an inversion posture that improves flexibility, especially of the spinal column, and balance.
To enter this pose, begin by lying on the back. The legs are raised overhead and then behind the head, similar to plow pose, except that in the latter pose, the legs remain straight. In knee-to-ear pose, the knees are bent and touch the ears.
Knee-to-ear pose is also known by its Sanskrit name, karnapidasana.
