What is Cat Pose?
Cat pose, or marjaryasana, is a simple posture that's generally alternated with cow pose as a gentle warmup for the spine. From all fours, the spine is rounded with the head and tailbone moving toward the floor.
Instructions
- Start on all fours.
- Bring your knees under your hips and your hands under your shoulders.
- Exhale and round your spine, bringing your head and tailbone toward the floor.
Cautions
- Avoid if there is knee or wrist injury
