Yogapedia Explains Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons

The Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons contain guidance on meditation, concentration and Kriya yoga. They are considered simple and accessible instructions which have the potential to help people recharge their energy, awaken the power of their mind and deepen their consciousness in order to experience a true awareness of the Divine.

The Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons also contain advice for all aspects of spiritual life, including how to find happiness among the constant change of the material world. They are considered both practical and profound.

The Lessons are disseminated by the SRF in adherence to Yogananda’s mission to share his knowledge of Kriya yoga directly with inquiring yogis. Each lesson is designed to be studied for one week, as it is six to eight pages long. To complete the whole course of Lessons at this pace would take the devotee around three and a half years.
